HORNING BOAT SHOW
The first Horning Boat Show proved to be very popular, there were approximately 5,000 visitors to the one day event. The weather was kind to us, although a little windy in the morning . The wind died down by the afternoon in time for our Pimms & Canapes event which was extremely well received. Lumiere Rouge did us proud as always and the children enjoyed Dan the magician who spent most of his time making balloon animals! Thank you to all who attended - we look forward to the next one.

Sealine
Boatbuilder Sealine was placed in administration on Tuesday 30th April, a sign of the difficult times for the industry. NYA has recently been appointed as a sub-dealer for Sealine, so we are hopeful that a buyer will soon be found for this excellent designer and builder of a distinctive range of boats. NYA has no exposure to Sealine’s difficulties and none of our customers are affected by the administration.
See you at the Horning show
The final count down to May 4 is on. Our office will be open all day to welcome you, with a conjuror and children’s goodie bags to make it a day for all the family. We will be showing off the Haines 42 Elegance and a few of our best used boats.
James was right about the weather
We forecast warmth and sun – and here it is. Enjoy the boating weather at last.
Easter cruise parties through the weather
Good to see some new faces on a a very enjoyable Easter cruise to Lowestoft. The weather curtailed our plans a little – the shipping forecast reducing the fleet as a few decided this was not the time for first off-shore experience. We enjoyed a choppy run down the coast and the hospitality of the RN&SYC at Lowestoft, braved a snow storm and partied well before deciding that with worsening weather a return to the Broads was sensible.
