Accommodation:
The 455 is a boat for enjoyment, with an extended bathing platform, a large comfortable saloon and extensive enclosed aft-deck space for safe al fresco entertainment in harbour or on the water. Throughout the interior the feeling is of a luxury home with no compromise to the boat-shaped space. Comfortable cabins, light, space, style and comfort are the result of our new look aft cabin design. With large flat floor and ceiling using the full beam of the boat this is more like a luxury hotel room. There is a full size double berth, with upholstered bedhead, extensive wardrobe and locker space, mirrors and subtle mood lighting. The opening panoramic window gives extensive views from the transom, with fully recessed blinds and intergrated mosquito screens. The forward double cabin fully appointed for the comfort of your guests, has extensive wardrobe, drawers and shelves, ceiling and individual reading lights, mirror and ensuite access to the washroom with seperate shower enclosure. The unusually large third cabin is fitted as standard with twin beds and a double berth conversion option, vanity unit, storage and wash facilities.
Saloon with ample space
The large and comfortable saloon has ample space for relaxing and dining for up to ten with economically designed seating subtle lighting and ventian blinds. Opening skylight gives extra light and ventilation in fine weather.
The luxurious sofa faces neatly arranged bar refrigerator, lockers, substantial stowage, 32" LED television and Radio/CD MP3 player with ipod docking station as the onboard entertainment. The extending dining table is complete with crockery and cutlery storage.
A new user friendly control panel gives intuitive one touch control and monitoring of all the on-board electrical systems. Off the saloon is the galley with Avonite galley worksurfaces and an oak galley floor the galley is equipped for practical entertaining for a full complement of guests or for living on board.
Excellent helm position
The helmsman is well protected by curved screens giving excellent all-round vision in all conditions. A quick release two-part hood protects the cockpit area and command position. The comand position features new ergonomically designed dashboard with chart area in front of the navigators position and provision for the suite of electronic navigation equipment which includes Autopilot, 15" Touch screen plotter and HD Raydome.
By reversing the two co-pilot seats to face aft, the cockpit will accommodate ten in comfort. With Aft deck sun cushions and teak dining table, cockpit BBQ and 30 litre drawer fridge under the helm seat, making the flybridge an excellent place for dining.
Extended bathing platform
The bathing platform is reached by steps either side of the transom, guarded by dual access gates. The steps aft, sundeck and bathing platform all have teak decking for appearance and safety. The bathing platform has been extended to give a full 1.6m length. The bathing platform is hydraulically raised and lowered to launch or recover a tender.
