FORWARD
The cabin is open-planned with a V berth at its furthest point forward. There is a wooden table that can be used to create a double berth. Above the berth there is an escape hatch. Beneath the cushions there are stowage lockers.
Moving aft the galley is located to starboard, aft of the galley there is a hanging locker and the toilet compartment.
TOILET COMPARTMENT
This contains a sea toilet with a holding tank. The sink extends out from the cabin wall, maximising all available space.
To port there is a long bench seat. Beneath there are stowage lockers. At the foot of the seat there is a small shelving unit. Access to the aft cockpit is central.
AFT COCKPIT
The helm position is located to starboard, beneath the helm seat there is a large stowage locker. To port there is a navigator's chair. Running across the transom there is a bench seat.
Comments:
The hull has a shallow ‘V’ with soft riding forward sections blending into a transom deadrise of 14 degrees to provide an efficient lifting surface. The planing surface is edged by down-angled chine flats which run from stern to stern to ensure a dry and stable ride.
The wheelhouse which can be enclosed or fully open using four framed teak doors, and the cabin both have full standing headroom. This has been achieved within a maximum air draft of 2.4m. This will allow cruising of the inland waterways throughout Europe in style and comfort.
The design flexibility of the Mariner 25 offers superb sea keeping abilities with planning performance for those owners who wish to keep their Mariner 25 in coastal waters.
