Comments:
2004 Sep : built by www.searanger.com near the Fairline factory at Oundle. Purchased at the Southampton Boat Show
2005 Mar : extra works completed, boat shipped to Gibraltar onboard specialist deepsea carrier; officially launched and sailed to Berth 350 at Puerto Sotogrande where she remained until Apr 2012 during which time she was used principally as a dayboat by the owners in and around the Straits of Gibraltar.
2005 to 2012 : servicing of the engines & generator has been meticulously carried out each year by Robert Stoepker who spent time at the factory during the fit-out & final build stages. The engines were last serviced 28 Mar 2012, the generator has only run briefly since last being serviced in June 2010. SeaRanger has been pampered since day one with no expense spared, the teak was treated each season by Yachting Sotogrande who washed, waxed & valeted the boat every week as part of their guardiannage package! Hull has been antifouled & anodes changed annually as necessary up to & including March 2012.
The SeaRanger has recently been professionally compounded and polished and teak treated in the last couple of months.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire an immensely strong and seaworthy craft.
