Marine Insurance specialists Navigators & General have introduced an insurance cover for pets at sea.
The policy will be included as standard in Navigators & General’s Yacht & Motorboat Protection and will cover pet owners with vessels of up to £1m in value and who cruise in range of UK & European waters. They will cover medical fees up to £500 under the policy following an accident onboard, embarking or disembarking.
The introduction of the scheme is a result of the increasing number of people taking their furry friends onboard.
