We normally have over 100 boats for sale on site. Our sales teams are available 7 days a week to guide you through the choice, offer advice and help arrange your purchase.

PEACE OF MIND

All new boats are sold under manufacturer's warranty. Our company-owned stock boats are offered with a range of warranties. We can also organise an independent survey for any used boat.

MAKING BUYING EASIER

We offer a part exchange facility on all our boats. We can also put you in touch with reputable and knowledgeable providers of finance and insurance.

TRAINING

We have a qualified and well respected RYA instructor available for a wide range of tuition. See our training page for more information. Successful completion of a training course is increasingly a requirement for insurance and for boating on European waterways.

COMPLETE SERVICE

Our after sales back up is second to none. Our service centre at Brundall has full facilities for lift out, service, repairs and preparation of your new boat.

PROFESSIONAL TEAM

All of our sales crew, valeters and service centre engineers are professionally qualified to handle the boats we buy, sell and service. The majority of our team hold helmsman’s qualifications, ranging from power boat level 2 to RYA day skipper and several members of the crew are yachtmasters.

James was a keen boater from an early age and in 1989 moved to Norfolk to take a position at NYA as a junior Broker. Seeing opportunities for growth he bought into the business, then in 2003 became sole owner. Since then sales have more than doubled and new alliances have been forged with companies such as Haines Marine. Services have widened with the development of the NYA Service Centre, moorings and Private Charter. Orchestrator of NYA Cruising Club, James is an enthusiastic supporter of social boating events.

Matt came to NYA in 2005. With a degree in maritime business studies from the University of Southampton, boating was a family passion when Matt was growing up in Norfolk. Indeed his family were customers of NYA. A keen boating enthusiast and RYA Day Skipper, Matt now heads the sales team at our Brundall office.

Sam came to NYA in 2014 having joined us as an Apprentice Engineer with our Service Centre. As part of his duties Sam also covered weekends in our Sales Office and when an opening became available, he moved across to the sales team full time. With an engineering background and a very friendly nature Sam is a knowledgeable member of the team.

Louise joined as PA to James in January 2012 . Many customers will know Louise from her years at nearby Broom Boats. As well as keeping James in order, she handles the newsletters and emails that keep customers up to date. She also deals with the administration of the Cruising Club.

Danni joined NYA in 2010. Having previously worked as a mortgage broker she is well used to handling paperwork efficiently. In addition to the general day to day administration of the Brundall office Danni deals with the various NYA Moorings.

Chris has been with NYA since 1998, as the company’s Sales Manager since 2003. Chris is a keen boat owner, having grown up on the Norfolk Broads messing about in dinghies and canoes and has progressed his interest to RYA/MCA Yachtmaster level. He’s now responsible for the smooth running of the Horning office.

Jason moved to Norfolk in 2000 to join NYA having worked in the boating business around the UK since leaving school. Although he enjoys being afloat Jason is also a keen Paraglider pilot and competes within the sport at a national level. In addition to his sales role, his IT skills are invaluable to the company.

Chris joined NYA in 2015. With a passion for the Norfolk Broads and boating in general he started his career working for a large Norfolk based Hire Fleet. Responsible for the day to day administration of the Horning office, he enjoys showing customers aboard our various boats for sale.

Rachel has been with NYA since 1996 and has seen a huge increase in the depth of paperwork required to buy and sell boats. Today she assists with administration in Horning, and puts her experience to good use by producing many of our descriptive listings and boat particulars.

Widely known as Speedo, Mark joined NYA in 2006. He and his team are responsible for the preparation and warranty of our stock vessels. Mark plays a key role in the acquisition of new stock and travels widely with James. A qualified Commercial Yachtmaster and resident engineer on all our cruising club activities, Mark has worked in the industry since leaving school. He’s also a keen boat owner.

Shaun joined NYA in 2013 to head up our growing retail service business. Cox ’n of the Sea Palling Lifeboat, and a keen leisure sailor Shaun is well known within the local industry. He is fully trained on Volvo Penta, Nanni, Yanmar and numerous other marine manufacturers having spent 9 years running the Norfolk division of Volvo specialist French Marine.

In 2015, we coaxed Pete out of retirement to take on the administration duties of the Service Centre and Aftersales team. Pete is no stranger to Brundall, since first coming here with his parents in 1963. A former accountant in the City of London Pete moved to Norfolk, spending 8 years as a Business Manager with Aviva before retirement. Pete is a keen boat owner and regular cruising club participant.
