The Environment Agency have confirmed that highly toxic blue-green algae have been found present at the following locations on the Broads: Neatishead Staithe, Gaye’s Staithe, Irstead Staithe and South Walsham Staithe.
Extra care is advised when using these areas, avoid entering the water so as to prevent inhalation and skim contact.
