Introduced in 1984 as the successor to the highly successful Broom European, the Broom 10/70 was designed to offer improved accommodation whilst retaining the excellent cruising characteristics for which Broom had become renowned. Just 57 examples were built, making the 10/70 a relatively rare and sought-after model within the Broom range.
The versatile semi-displacement hull provides comfortable inland waterway cruising whilst remaining capable of coastal passages when conditions allow. A solid keel and wide beam contribute to the models reputation for easy handling and excellent low-speed manoeuvrability.
Dream Island features one of the most desirable layouts available in a vessel of this size, with a single helm, spacious forward guest cabin, generous saloon, well-equipped galley and a particularly impressive aft owners cabin with centreline island double berth. Wide side decks, a large aft deck and flybridge helm position.
