Accommodation

Isabella combines the formidable build quality and eye-pleasing workmanship of a Broom aft cabin classic with a modern twist, including cream Alcantara upholstery, new headlinings with chrome downlighters and chrome sockets throughout (2008). The list of additions, upgrades and schedule of maintenance runs to two pages of A4.
There are double berths in both forward and aft cabins (aft cabin with memory foam mattress topper), two heads with good headroom (one with shower, both with sea toilets), a spacious and inviting saloon with immaculate woodwork, blinds and plenty of storage; and a galley with full gas cooker (2007) and a brushed steel Waeco fridge (2014).

Externally there is teak-soled cockpit with extended full canvas (2014), steering position with excellent all round visibility, stainless steel Whittal davits (2015), teak bathing platform, and electric anchor winch.

Broom carried out the following works (there were numerous other minor replacements not individually listed here):
The windows, engines, much internal trim and all furnishings were removed.
The superstructure, originally coloured green, was resprayed in white. All windows were removed, stripped, re-sealed and refitted.
The entire boat wiring, with the exception of the forward cabin and part of the engine wiring looms, was replaced to current standards with new ducting , 12 24v switch panels, 240v shore support panels, all with circuit breakers. New dashboard to outside helm. Anchor winch removed and serviced.
Two replacement engines fitted which we understand came from a younger boat (exact year not known) and had many new parts including much of the exhaust systems.
