Galley

Accommodation

  • Forward Cabin:
  • A spacious cabin with V berths complete with infill boards and cushions making up to a large double berth. Single draws beneath both berths and a further drawer and hanging locker. The cabin has three 240v sockets and a twin USB socket. Door leading aft in to companion way with separate heads and shower compartment.
  • Heads:
  • Located on the port side of the boat the heads have been sympathetically modernised with an electric flush toilet, Porcelain sink with mixer tap mounted on top of cupboard unit, Avonite side shelf and vinyl flooring.  Mirror to the aft bulkhead and access through a sliding door.
  • Shower compartment:
  • Access via sliding door from companionway. Slatted wooden bench seat fixed to aft bulkhead over shower tray.
  • Centre cockpit wheelhouse:
  • The central wheelhouse is accessed from either port or starboard side doors with a single step down. Helm position to port with chrome dash and full instrumentation including USB sockets. Twin pedestal helm seats and a fixed two person cushioned bench seat with folding footrest. Removable carpet giving access to engine bay beneath boards. Fitted with an acrylic canopy which is removable along with the wooden support slats creating an open air view point. The windscreens and side screens fold giving a low air draft capable of passing under all the Broadland bridges subject to tide levels.
  • Saloon:
  • Twin steps lead down in to the comfortable and cosy saloon. The L shape sofa provides generous seating with storage beneath and is served by a large folding leaf wooden table. To port there is a sideboard unit with a cupboard and draw. There are two 240v sockets and a USB port fitted. Aft of the sideboard a Cast iron multifuel burner provides character and charm along with great heating capability. An eye level cupboard is fitted to the galley bulkhead wall.
  • Galley:
  • The Galley is beautifully crafted with Avonite work surfaces to both port and starboard. A Smev Stainless Steel oven and grill is fitted to port along with a 3 burner Smev gas hob complete with glass cover. There is cupboard and drawer storage and twin 240v sockets.  The Isotherm 85L electric fridge is fitted to the starboard side of the Galley along with a Dometic Stainless Steel sink with glass cover. A further storage cupboard is found beneath the sink. Double doors open on to the covered aft well.
  • Aft well:
  • The aft well houses the gas locker along with a storage locker.  There is access to the rudder gear beneath a hinged transom step. The shore power socket is fitted to the rear bulkhead and there is a full well cover and carpeting making this a usable space all season round.

  • 2015 – New Nanni diesel engine and gearbox fitted (commissioned 2016).
  • 2015/16 – 12v and 240v electrical systems fully rewired and upgraded to include Victron battery charger and inverter, new batteries, shore power system and 240v immersion heater.
  • 2015/16 – Underwater hull renovation completed using over 600 feet of prime Utile mahogany planking, copper nailed and Sikaflex sealed. Majority of chines renewed.
  • 2016 – Hull and superstructure stripped back to bare wood and refinished with upward of 14 coats of varnish to the superstructure along with multiple coats of International single-pack yacht paint.
  • 2016 – Water tank replaced.
  • 2016 – Interior reupholstered throughout.
  • 2016 – New aft cockpit and wheelhouse canopies fitted, including full winter cover and wheelhouse top cap cover.
  • 2019 – Engine serviced to manufacturer specification.
  • 2021 – Hauled ashore, hull inspected and antifouled.
  • November 2023 – Starboard chine replaced along with six planks.
  • January 2024 – Lifted, hull scrubbed and inspected.
  • November 2025 – Engine serviced.
  • 2026 – New hog laminated from European oak using West System epoxy.
  • 2026 – New keel laminated from European oak using West System epoxy.
  • 2026 – Keel fitted to hog with new stainless steel bolts and mastic joint.
  • 2026 – Sterntube installation completed following splitting of keel in way of shaft line.
  • 2026 – Existing sterntube machined out and fitted with glued oak cheek pieces either side.
  • 2026 – Replacement garboard strakes fitted in khaya mahogany.
  • 2026 – New starboard engine stringer fitted in oak.
  • 2026 – Localised repairs carried out to port engine stringer.
  • 2026 – Sections of bottom planking replaced where localised dry rot was identified.
  • 2026 – Localised transom plank repairs completed where dry rot was present.
  • 2026 – Cuprinol 5 Star oil-based preservative applied to hull interior where accessible.
  • 2026 – New stainless steel rudder and stock fitted.
  • 2026 – New stainless steel skeg fitted.
  • 2026 – New engine bearers fitted.
  • 2026 – Antifouled prior to launch.
