FREEMAN 27 – 1979 – Single Thornycroft 1.8 diesel. This comfortable 4 berth cruiser is a rare soft top model with folding windscreens and is an exceptional and lovingly maintained example. Recent canopy, carpets and upholstery. Cockpit upholstery updated last season in deep wine coloured Silvertex with motif stitching. Galley

The galley comprises of a sink / drainer unit with Eastham Maxol twin gas hob. Oven and grill can both be concealed beneath folding varnished wooden covers. The electric fridge is fitted into the lower galley units which provide ample storage for crockery and utensils. Hot water is heated via calorifier or 240v immersion.

The Freeman 27 is a hugely popular traditional river cruiser that sleeps 4 in a classic arrangement via the forward V berths and dinette located to the port, separated by a folding door. There is a good sized toilet/ shower compartment located to starboard with the galley area adjacent.

The aft cockpit provides a comfortable bench seat running along the transom with a helm seat port and a navigators seat starboard, all recently re upholstered. This is a rare soft top model with fully folding windscreens and whilst passage through Potter Heigham is only possible on a very low tide, Wroxham bridge and Osney bridge over the Thames present no restrictions.
