The Norfolk Broads has been shortlisted by BBC Countryfile magazine in their awards for National Park of the year. The Broads made it into the top five noting ‘Britain’s largest protected wetland is a mysterious, marvellous landscape, with a quarter of the country’s rarest wildlife’.
Not only is the Norfolk Broads a paradise for wildlife, but it has also become a haven for locals and holidaymakers. This has helped increase boat sales in Norfolk year upon year, as more Brits and oversea travellers take to the tranquil waters of the Broads.
The public will now vote for their favourite.
