Holland Cruise

Saturday 17th – Saturday 31st August

Minimum 18 knot cruise

Deposit £200 – used against your moorings whilst on the cruise

Skippers Briefing TBA

This cruise is suitable for experienced skippers only and consists of North Sea crossing Engineering Support only for both trips.  Engineering Support Crew will return to the UK once the fleet has arrived in Holland safely and will come back to Holland for the return trip at the end of August.  The cost of travel for the support crew will be split between the fleet.  For ease of travel of the crew, we will most likely go into Holland at Ijmuden although this is open to discussion once we have gauged interest.

Once in Holland, the fleet will split up into small groups of 4 or 5 boats or less in order to give better range of destinations that smaller groups can visit.  Novice crews who have a boat that is in good seaworthy condition and capable of maintaining a minimum of 18 knot cruising speed through the water.

No charge will be made by NYA for this cruise with the exception of the travel both ways for our Support Crew.  These fees will be split equally between the fleet.

The idea of this cruise is to offer the security of Cruising in Company to Skippers who are happy to cruise Holland either on their own or to form their own small flotillas with other boats.

NYA will provide support for the North Sea Crossings and the costs of transporting the support crew home will be shared equally between the fleet.

Boats must be seaworthy and capable of cruising at a minimum of 18 knots with a safe range of 120 miles for fuel.
