East Coast Cruise

Saturday 4th – Saturday 11th April

Minimum 18 knot cruise
Deposit £200 – used against your moorings whilst on the cruise
Skippers Briefing 0945hrs @ Berney Arms

This cruise is suitable for those who have a proven boat that is seaworthy and capable of maintaining a minimum of 18 knot cruising speed through the water.
No charge will be made by NYA for this cruise.

Saturday 4th April – HW Dover 0855hrs  LW Dover 1455hrs

Depart Great Yarmouth via a 1100hrs Haven Bridge Lift. Passage to Ipswich Haven Marina on the River Orwell.

Sunday 5th April

Day in Ipswich

Monday 6th April – HW Harwich 1119hrs

Fleet departs Ipswich Haven at 1230 hrs for Woolverstone Marina.

Tuesday 7th April – HW Walton-on-the-Naze 1203hrs

Fleet departs Woolverstone at 0900hrs for passage to Woodbridge on the River Deben

Wednesday 8th April

Day in Woodbridge

Thursday 8th April – HW Walton-on-the-Naze 1333hrs

1130hrs Fleet departs Tide Mill for passage to Lowestoft RN&SYC, arriving late pm.

Friday 9th April

Day in Lowestoft

Saturday 11th April

1030hrs Depart RN&SYC, Lowestoft for passage to Great Yarmouth and 1145hrs Haven Bridge Lift.

Southwold (May) Cruise

Friday 8th – Monday 11th May

If there is enough demand – we will run this cruise at 8 knots for displacement boats

Deposit £75 – used against your moorings whilst on the cruise
Skippers Briefing 0815hrs @ Berney Arms

This cruise is suitable for Novice crews who have a boat that is in good seaworthy condition, maintaining a minimum of 8 knot cruising speed through the water.
No charge will be made by NYA for this cruise.

NB. Southwold is a traditional fishing harbour with predominantly fixed timber staging to moor against.  Our fleet normally raft together 3 or 4 boats abeam of each other.  It can be tricky to get dogs/young children or the less nimble ashore.

You will require plenty of mooring ropes of a decent length.

Friday 8th May – HW Southwold 1157hrs    HW Dover 1231hrs

Depart Great Yarmouth on a 0930hrs Haven Bridge lift for passage to Southwold.

Saturday 9th May

Day in Southwold

Sunday 10th May – HW Southwold 1157hrs   HW Dover 1231

Depart Southwold at around 1230hrs for passage to Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft for Carvery dinner.

Monday 11th May – HW Lowestoft 1259hrs  HW Dover 1440hrs

Depart Lowestoft at 1000hrs on Monday for passage to Great Yarmouth and a 1130hrs Haven Bridge lift.

Amsterdam Cruise

Friday 12th – Friday 19th June

Minimum 18 knot cruise
Deposit £200 – used against your moorings whilst on the cruise
VHF Briefing 0830hrs – Channel 77  –  0915hrs Haven Bridge Lift

This cruise is suitable for experienced skippers who must hold a valid ICC & CEVNI.  Your boat will also need an ATIS enabled VHF.

No charge will be made by NYA for this cruise.

Boats must be seaworthy and capable of cruising at a minimum of 18 knots with a safe range of 120 miles for fuel.

Friday 12th June

0915hrs Haven Bridge Lift and passage to Ijmuiden, Seaport Marina

Saturday 13th June

1030hrs – Depart Seaport Marina and lock onto North Sea Canal for passage to Amsterdam Marina.  We then have several days in Amsterdam or to explore the Isjlemeer.

Thursday 18th June

Return to Great Yarmouth for a 1600hrs Haven Bridge Lift

Depart Southwold at 1500hrs for passage to Lowestoft and the RN&SYC for Carvery Dinner.

Monday 29th June  (HW Lowestoft 0502hrs  HW Dover 0608hrs) 

Depart Lowestoft 1000hrs for passage to Great Yarmouth & 1130hrs Haven Bridge Lift.

Thursday 23rd July – HW Dover 1344hrs

Depart Great Yarmouth on Thursday 23rd July via a 0915hrs Haven Bridge Lift. Passage to Ramsgate.  Fleet fuels up at Ramsgate Thursday pm & Friday am.

Friday 24th July – HW Dover 1428hrs

Depart Ramsgate at 1100hrs for Passage to Brighton.

Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July

Days in Brighton

Monday 27th July – HW Dover 0430hrs

Depart at 1030hrs for passage to Ramsgate and a refuel.

Tuesday 28th July – HW Dover 0532hrs

0700hrs Fleet departs Ramsgate for passage to Great Yarmouth and a 1215hrs Haven Bridge Lift.

Sunday 6th September – HW Dover 1423hrs  HW Lowestoft 1238hrs

Depart 1000hrs for passage to Great Yarmouth and 1130hrs Haven Bridge Lift
