Southwold Cruise – 12th April

The fabulous spring weather thankfully held on for our first cruise of the year to Southwold & Lowestoft. Whilst the easterly wind was chilly there was little of it and we were blessed with blue skies and calm seas.

We departed Great Yarmouth on Saturday morning and cruised to Southwold arriving at around 11.30am
The fleet rafted together on Blackshore Quay and enjoyed a couple of days by the seaside.
We departed Southwold on Monday morning and headed for the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft.
The following morning we passaged back to Great Yarmouth and the Broads feeling blessed by the weather gods.
