Breydon water channel marker replacement works will be taking place for approximately eight days from Thursday 8 March 2018. The contractor will be operating on the edge of the channel in 14 different locations, removing old buoys and wooden posts and replacing with the new steel piled round channel markers. The contractors will be regularly accessing the Broads Authority 24 hour moorings at Berney Mill, where the new piles will be stored in a wherry during the works. The navigable channel width will be slightly narrower in the immediate work zone, there are no restrictions to navigating Breydon during these works.
