We normally have over 100 boats for sale on site. Our sales teams are available 7 days a week to guide you through the choice, offer advice and help arrange your purchase.
All new boats are sold under manufacturer's warranty. Our company-owned stock boats are offered with a range of warranties. We can also organise an independent survey for any used boat.
We offer a part exchange facility on all our boats. We can also put you in touch with reputable and knowledgeable providers of finance and insurance.
We have a qualified and well respected RYA instructor available for a wide range of tuition. See our training page for more information. Successful completion of a training course is increasingly a requirement for insurance and for boating on European waterways.
Our after sales back up is second to none. Our service centre at Brundall has full facilities for lift out, service, repairs and preparation of your new boat.
All of our sales crew, valeters and service centre engineers are professionally qualified to handle the boats we buy, sell and service. The majority of our team hold helmsman’s qualifications, ranging from power boat level 2 to RYA day skipper and several members of the crew are yachtmasters.

James was a keen boater from an early age and in 1989 moved to Norfolk to take a position at NYA as a junior Broker. Seeing opportunities for growth he bought into the business, then in 2003 became sole owner. Since then sales have more than doubled. Services have widened with the development of the NYA Service Centre, moorings and Private Charter. Orchestrator of NYA Cruising Club, Early in 2025 NYA acquired st olaves marina a 12 acre site with 160 moorings on floating pontoons, a 50 tonne travel hoist and hard standing for 80 boats. James is an enthusiastic supporter of social boating events.

Matt came to NYA in 2005. With a degree in maritime business studies from the University of Southampton, boating was a family passion when Matt was growing up in Norfolk. Indeed his family were customers of NYA. A keen boating enthusiast and RYA Day Skipper, Matt now heads the sales team at our Brundall office.

Chris joined NYA in 2015. With a passion for the Norfolk Broads and boating in general he started his career working for a large Norfolk based Hire Fleet. He has been responsible for the day to day running of our Charter Fleet since 2020 & supports the sales team at our Brundall office. Away from work the boating doesn't stop and he will often be found out on the river on his own boat.

Jason has been with NYA for many years having previously worked in boating business around the UK. Jason has kayaked much of the broads and is also a keen Paraglider pilot and competes within the sport at a national level. In addition to his boat sales, his IT skills are invaluable to the company.

Danni joined NYA in 2010. Having previously worked as a mortgage broker she is well used to handling paperwork efficiently. In addition to the general day to day administration of the Brundall office Danni manages the various NYA Moorings.

Chris has worked for NYA since 1998. Chris is a keen boat owner, having grown up on the Norfolk Broads messing about in dinghies and canoes and has progressed his interest to RYA/MCA Yachtmaster level. He’s now responsible for the smooth running of the Horning office.

Alex joined NYA in 2022 bringing with him a wealth of experience. Alex is a keen boating enthusiast who will now be assisting with sales at our Horning office.

Rachel has been with NYA since 1996 and has seen a huge increase in the depth of paperwork required to buy and sell boats. Today she assists with administration in Horning, and puts her experience to good use by producing many of our descriptive listings and boat particulars.

Lesley joined NYA in 2022 to oversee the Housekeeping for our fleet of Charter Cruisers.
A familiar face in the Brundall boating scene Lesley enjoys spending time on the water with husband Pete in between making sure the Fleet are all shipshape for our Charter customers.

Will is no stranger to Brundall and the Broads. He was part of his family business at Freshwater Cruisers and then trained as a Boat Safety Examiner & Gas Safe engineer. Will has been a BSC examiner for 27 years and brings with him a wealth of boating knowledge aiding in the co-ordination of the NYA service team. In his spare time Will practises the art of Falconry along with being a keen Motor Sport enthusiast!

In 2015, we coaxed Pete out of retirement to take on the duties of the Service Centre and Aftersales team. Pete first visited the area with his parents in 1963. A former accountant in the City of London Pete moved to Norfolk, spending 8 years as a Business Manager with Aviva before retirement. Pete is a keen boat owner and regular cruising club participant.

Simon is a very experienced engineer and worked with NYA for many years, having previously been in the automotive industry, Simon is a volunteer for the Deltic locomotive preservation society.

Chris is an avid runner and competed in several marathons both in the UK and aboard, Chris has also taken part in the 50 mile tour de broads cycling event along with several other members of NYA staff.

Sam has been boating from a young age and is a keen sailor, competing competitively, he joined NYA as an apprentice and is now a enthusiastic member of the NYA service team.

Kevin maintains our Brundall marinas and sales sites. He is a very skilled in martial arts having recently travelled to Switzerland to see his grand master to receive a 6 dan deputy grand master grade in hap ki do, of which, has taken him 44 years of dedication to receive.

Kevin is a keen fisherman and family man. He also has an impeccable taste in music often known for his singing in the service centre workshop! Away form work Kevin is a qualified FA football coach.

Starting his boating experience in 1989 Chris is no stranger to the broads. He has been an engineer since 2003 and away from work Chris enjoys spending time with his family and playing pool.

Andy is well known locally in Brundall after working in and around the marina for many years. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids and working on and maintaining his car.

Tamsin has worked at St Olaves for over 18 years and keeps all the cogs moving within our busy marina. Having grown up in the boating world she also owns her cruiser that she loves to spend her time cruising on.

Keira joined the company 3 years ago. She runs the office and looks after our customer needs, berthing and the day to day accounts and administration. She has a passion for the job and enjoys boating in her spare time.

Lewis has worked with us for over 18 years. He is a Spurs fan and a very skilled plant operative and an experienced/main driver of our 50T hoist. Lewis is involved with the day to day movements of boats and looks after the marina.

Paul joined us two years ago and having come from Aston Martin, he brings those skills to boat building and repair. Paul has has enjoyed boating his whole life.
