Accommodation

Based on the same hull as the conventional Mirage 29, the aft cabin version is a very different boat offering more comfortable 6 berth accommodation with a conventional shaft drive. The model was aimed more towards the inland market. Benefitting from a deep V hull shape with a keel that improves directional stability at low speeds as well as restricting cross wind drift when manoeuvring. The single engined version also benefitted from having a metal skeg running from the keel to the rudder, this offers some protection to the prop in the event of grounding.
Fairline built 80 of these boats between 1981 and 1984.

The boat offers six berths across 3 cabins. The forward cabin contains twin V berths; the saloon seating will convert into an additional double berth and finally two single berths in the aft cabin.
